Citroniq

ABB entered a supply agreement with Citroniq to provide automation, electrification and digitalisation systems for its biogenic polypropylene facility in Nebraska. The plant is scheduled to start operating in 2029.

Vinmar agreed to a binding 15-year offtake agreement to buy corn-based polypropylene from Citroniq's planned Nebraska plant, representing half of the 600,000 t/yr capacity. Production is expected to begin in 2029.
