Knowledge Economic City

Makarem Almaarifa awarded a 25-year contract to a consortium of City Cool, Johnson Controls Arabia, and ADC Energy Systems to build and operate a central cooling plant for Knowledge Economic City in Madinah, providing 21,000 tons of refrigeration.

Knowledge Economic City, through its subsidiary Makarem Almaarifa Hospitality Ltd, has signed a contract with a consortium of City Cool, Johnson Controls Arabia, and ADC Energy Systems to build a 21,000-ton refrigeration district cooling plant in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwrah under a BOOT arrangement.
