Komatsu to acquire American Battery Solutions
Komatsu, through its U.S. subsidiary Komatsu America Corp., agreed to acquire American Battery Solutions, Inc., a battery manufacturer headquartered in Detroit, Michigan. The acquisition is expected to close on December 1, 2023, and will enable Komatsu to develop battery-operated construction and mining equipment.
