Glen Dimplex announced plans to invest over €15 million in its operations in Dunleer, Co Louth, moving from two existing sites to a new multi-purpose facility at Ardee Road within the next two years.

Glen Dimplex is investing €15 million in its Dunleer operations, consolidating from two sites to one multipurpose facility at Ardee Road, including a showroom and new R&D.

Glen Dimplex will invest around €25 million in its Newry site to repurpose it into a centre of excellence for manufacturing zero-carbon renewable heating solutions, including heat pumps.

Glen Dimplex announced a restructuring of its Irish operations, including up to 300 net redundancies between late 2024 and 2026, and a €50 million investment. The company will consolidate from five sites to three, focusing on low carbon heating and ventilation solutions.

Lennox has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Hyfra Process Cooling business unit, headquartered in Krunkel, Germany, to the Glen Dimplex Group. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2023.
