Accelera by Cummins, Daimler Truck and PACCAR form joint venture for battery cell production in US
Accelera by Cummins, Daimler Truck and PACCAR announced a joint venture to manufacture lithium-iron-phosphate battery cells for electric commercial vehicles and industrial applications in the United States. Total investment is expected to be $2-3 billion for a 21-gigawatt hour factory. EVE Energy will be the technology partner with 10% ownership.
