Irish packaging group Zeus Packaging acquired Austrian food packaging solutions business Petruzalek from Italmobiliare, completing a three-year acquisition strategy. The price was undisclosed; Petruzalek reportedly had 2020 revenues of about €58 million.
Denmark-based Faerch Group has acquired the Sirap food packaging business in Italy, Poland and Spain from Italmobiliare. The business includes three production sites, and the deal is expected to close within three months, subject to regulatory approval.
