U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Nashville District awarded ANDRITZ a contract to rehabilitate turbines and generators at the 162 MW Old Hickory hydroelectric plant on the Cumberland River in Tennessee. ANDRITZ will supply three 40.5 MW Kaplan turbine generator units, with an optional fourth, and first-unit commissioning is expected in August 2026.

ANDRITZ received a contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District to rehabilitate turbines and generators at the 186 MW Barkley hydroelectric plant on the Cumberland River in Kentucky, with an order value of about 65 million euros and first-unit commissioning expected in September 2023.
