Ineos acquires 50% stake in Runcorn MCP to secure UK PVC production
Ineos Inovyn acquired a 50% shareholding in Runcorn MCP, the UK's final producer of ethylene dichloride, along with its assets and staff, from Vynova Runcorn which entered administration. The deal secures the supply of a critical chemical for PVC production used in water pipes, electrical cable, medical tubing, and window frames.

Portobello-RMF awarded two major contracts by Vynova Runcorn
Portobello-RMF secured two contracts from Vynova Runcorn Ltd to manufacture major equipment in low-temperature carbon steel, stainless steel 316L, and titanium grade 2 for a project involving chlorine, EDC, and caustic soda production. The project will begin in Q3/Q4 2020 with delivery scheduled for 2021.
