Sormac B.V.

Sormac, a supplier of fresh-cut fruit and vegetable processing equipment, acquired a majority stake in German food technology manufacturer Foodcons. Foodcons will be absorbed into Sormac GmbH.

Sormac, a supplier of vegetable processing machines, is building a new hall of over 3,000 square meters at its Venlo facility, doubling construction capacity and adding automation including a laser cutting machine.

Sormac B.V. has acquired the product portfolio of Felcon B.V., specializing in vegetable processing machinery, including the vertical centrifuge. Sales, production, and service will be consolidated at Sormac's head office in Venlo.
