Trivium

Trivium and Ausnutria are building a new €30 million can factory at the Internationaal Bedrijvenpark Friesland in Heerenveen, Netherlands, due for completion at the end of 2020. Trivium will produce 150 million cans a year for Ausnutria's infant formula under a ten-year contract.

Ardagh Group agreed to combine its Food & Specialty Metal Packaging business with Exal Corporation to form Trivium Packaging, a metal packaging company with 57 facilities and about 7,800 employees, headquartered in the Netherlands. Ardagh will hold 43% and receive about $2.5 billion in cash, with completion expected later in 2019.
