Anglo Asian Mining

Anglo Asian Mining announced delivery of a Caterpillar underground mining fleet to its Gedabek site for the new Gilar mine in Azerbaijan. The fleet includes three R1700 and two 980UMA underground loaders, costing $4.6 million, and will create about 50 new local jobs.

Anglo Asian Mining is expanding its Gedabek flotation plant in Azerbaijan, adding new rougher/scavenger cells and cleaner cells from Maelgwyn Mineral Services at an estimated cost of $3 million.

Anglo Asian Mining placed orders for approximately $10 million in mining equipment from Epiroc, Caterpillar, Paus, and Tunelmak for its new Zafar and Gilar mines in Azerbaijan.
