Fronius

Fronius commissioned a new production hall at its Sattledt site in Austria, increasing inverter production capacity from 4 GW to 7 GW per year. The company plans to further expand to 10 GW in 2024, producing 70,000 inverters.

Fronius announced an investment of over €230 million to create new production lines for solar inverters, aiming for 65% growth in manufacturing capacity to 54,000 devices per month by end of 2023. The expansion is expected to generate 1,300 new jobs globally.
