Leupold merges with Strobel, backed by Waterland Private Equity
Folding carton maker Joh. Leupold GmbH & Co. KG, majority-owned by Waterland Private Equity since August 2020, is merging with carton and corrugated packaging maker Strobel AG of Roth. The founding Strobel owners remain during a transition phase.

Waterland acquires folding carton producer Leupold and subsidiary Schneller
Waterland Private Equity is acquiring all shares of folding carton producer Leupold and its subsidiary Schneller, based in Schwabach, Germany, as part of a family succession plan. The deal is subject to German competition approval and terms were not disclosed.
