VSE Corporation closed its acquisition of Kellstrom Aerospace Group for approximately $185 million in cash and 172,414 common shares, expanding its commercial engine aftermarket presence.

VSE Corporation signed a definitive agreement to acquire Kellstrom Aerospace Group, a distributor and service provider for the commercial aerospace engine aftermarket. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2024.

TIGHITCO, a manufacturer of engineered composites and thermal insulation, has partnered with Kellstrom Aerospace for the sale and distribution of its products in the commercial aircraft aftermarket.

Ametek extended and expanded five existing aftermarket distribution agreements with Kellstrom Aerospace for five years, and added a sixth five-year distribution deal with Ametek Pacific Design Technologies. Kellstrom will distribute Ametek-manufactured components for various aircraft and engines.
