Sacko Holding launched construction of a new cement plant in Béma, Mali, with an investment of 488 billion FCFA. The plant will have an annual capacity of 4.5 million tonnes of cement, expandable to 6 million tonnes, and create over 1,000 direct jobs.

Ciment Sahel Mali SA breaks ground on 4Mta cement plant in Mali
The foundation stone was laid for a new 4Mta cement plant in Béma, Mali, by Ciment Sahel Mali SA. The project is financed with CFA388bn ($500M) and construction is expected to take 30 months from January 2023.
