Thiess Pty Ltd has signed a Share Purchase Agreement with Metarock Group Ltd to acquire Australian-based underground metals business PYBAR Holdings Limited and its subsidiary Pybar Mining Services Pty Ltd.

Pybar, a subsidiary of Metarock, won a three-year contract from MMG to supply fibrecrete and cement fill at the Rosebery underground mine in Tasmania. Work begins in April 2023, with estimated revenues of $18 million per year and 25 new jobs.

PYBAR, part of Metarock Group, secured a new three-year fixed term contract for supply, delivery and application of fibrecrete and cement fill at MMG's Rosebery Mine in Tasmania. The contract includes two one-year extension options and will create 25 jobs.

Pybar Mining Services, part of Metarock, has taken delivery of a new Cat Elphinstone WR820 agitator procured from Hastings Deering for operations at the Eloise Copper Mine in Queensland.
