Harbert Management Corporation

Harbert Management Corp. acquired the 323 MW Mid-Georgia Cogen combined-cycle cogeneration plant in Kathleen, Georgia. The plant has a new 20-year power purchase agreement with Georgia Power effective in 2028 and supplies thermal energy to a Frito-Lay facility.

Oglethorpe Power has entered into an agreement to acquire two GE combustion turbine units (330 MW) at Washington County Power in Sandersville, Georgia, from Gulf Pacific Power, managed by Harbert Management Corporation. The deal is expected to close by end of 2022.
