Mitsubishi Power has commenced commercial operation of the fifth M701JAC gas turbine at the GTCC power plant in Rayong, Thailand, part of an 8-unit, 5,300 MW turnkey contract signed in 2018.

Mitsubishi Power has commenced operation of the fourth and final M701JAC unit at a 2,650 MW gas turbine combined cycle power plant in Chonburi Province, Thailand, completing the project.
