Tibnor

Tibnor, a subsidiary of SSAB, received competition authority approval to acquire Ovako Metals Oy, the Finnish distribution entity of Ovako. The acquisition strengthens Tibnor's position in the Finnish steel and metal distribution market.

Tibnor, a subsidiary of SSAB, has signed an agreement to acquire Ovako Metals Oy, a Finnish distributor of steel and metals. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and expected to close in Q1 2026.

SSAB's subsidiary Tibnor acquired Askims Rostfria Stål in Gothenburg and Imero Höglund in Västerås. The combined turnover of the acquired companies is approximately SEK 130 million.
