Olympic Industries approved the purchase of two sets of capital machinery from China for $500,000 to establish a carton production plant with annual capacity of 315.36 million pieces, and an egg washing and breaking machine from Hong Kong for $46,000 with annual capacity of 175.20 million pieces.

Olympic Industries will invest Tk 500 million to expand its food processing units in Kanchpur and Madanpur, Bangladesh, adding a multi-functional chocolate plant and a new cookie production line, increasing annual cookie output by 9,048 tonnes and chocolate by 3,300 tonnes.

Olympic Industries decided to invest about Tk 28 crore to import equipment for a second baked snacks processing line at its Narayanganj factory, a new corrugated board production line, and civil construction for storage expansion. The second processing line will add 200 tonnes of baked snacks per month.
