Austria's Starlinger will equip Nigeria-based Bua Group with packaging machinery for a new facility expected to produce 600 million PP block-bottom bags annually. Starlinger calls it its largest contract in Africa and its second-largest globally.

Anduro completed a new 155,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, for woven BOPP and flexible plastic packaging. The company says the site more than doubles its capacity.

Austrian machinery supplier Starlinger will deliver two recoSTAR PET 165 iV+ bottle-to-bottle recycling lines to Srichakra Polyplast, with delivery expected at the start of 2024. The rPET will supply Coca-Cola India's Kinley water bottles.

Starlinger will supply its recoSTAR PET 215 iV+ food-grade PET recycling system to Başatlı Boru Profil in Kocaeli Province, Turkey, with operation planned from April 2022. The system produces up to 2,400 kg of food-safe rPET per hour.

ALPLA is adding a second rPET extrusion line at its PET Recycling Team plant in Radomsko, Poland, doubling rPET capacity from 15,000 to 30,000 tonnes per year from early May 2020.
