Andritz Hydro wins over €40M contract to modernize Sobradinho hydropower plant in Brazil
Companhia Hidrelétrica do São Francisco awarded Andritz Hydro a contract worth more than €40 million for the complete modernization and digitalization of the 1050 MW Sobradinho plant in Bahia. The project is expected to be completed in 2025.

ANDRITZ signs over EUR 40 million contract to modernise Sobradinho hydropower plant in Brazil
ANDRITZ signed a contract with CHESF worth more than 40 million euros to fully modernise and digitalise the Sobradinho hydropower plant on the Sao Francisco river in Bahia, Brazil, with completion expected in 2025.
