Tractel

Alimak Group AB has completed the acquisition of Tractel, a provider of height solutions, to create a global provider of sustainable premium height solutions with annual revenue above SEK 6 billion.

Cinven, the private equity firm, agreed to sell Tractel, a height safety solutions provider, to Alimak Group AB for EUR 500 million on an enterprise value basis. The acquisition was announced on August 1, 2022.

Alimak Group has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Tall Crane Equipment LTD, a Canadian hoist and crane rental services provider headquartered in Langley, British Columbia. The purchase price is approximately MSEK 215 (MCAD 27) on a cash and debt-free basis, with potential earn-out of up to MSEK 105.
