Indeck Energy Services, with partners KOSPO and DL Energy, started commercial operation of the Indeck Niles Energy Center in Niles, Michigan. The 1.1 GW natural gas-fired combined cycle plant uses GE equipment and has a 25-year service contract with GE.

The Indeck Niles Energy Center, a $1.1-billion natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant in Niles, Michigan, entered service. Built by Kiewit and featuring GE equipment, the plant provides 1,100 MW of generation capacity.
