Thyssenkrupp Uhde subsidiary Uhde Inventa-Fischer won a contract from KÖKSAN to supply a PET resin plant in Yumurtalik with 324,000 metric tons annual capacity, with start-up targeted for 2028.

thyssenkrupp Uhde's subsidiary Uhde Inventa-Fischer signed a Letter of Intent with KÖKSAN to deliver two PET resin plants, one in Gaziantep, Türkiye and one in Babylon, Iraq with Al Mutahida Packaging, each with 324,000 tons per year capacity. Completion is planned for 2027 and 2028.

Oerlikon Barmag Huitong Engineering signed a cooperation agreement with Turkish PET producer Köksan Group for Continuous Polycondensation technology with 400,000 tons per year capacity. The deal's value was not disclosed.

thyssenkrupp's plant engineering business won a second order from Turkish packaging producer KÖKSAN to build a PET plant next to an existing line in Gaziantep. The plant will double site capacity to 432,000 tons of PET resin per year, with completion planned for 2022.
