Cofimco is starting up a new manufacturing plant in Houston, Texas, to serve the North American market in digital infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.

Cofimco, an Italian axial cooling systems company, announced the acquisition of Turin-based Ilmed Ventilazione Industriale (IVI), which has a production plant in Ningbo, China. The deal strengthens Cofimco's position in data centre cooling, shipbuilding, power generation and high-intensity industry.

Cofimco, with support from PX3 Partners, has acquired Ilmed Ventilazione Industriale Srl (IVI) and its subsidiaries, including a facility in Ningbo, China. The acquisition enhances Cofimco's capabilities in critical cooling applications.
