Yanbu Cement Company and Southern Province Cement Company signed a non-binding MoU to evaluate a merger, with due diligence and discussions to follow.

Sinoma International announced it signed a $330 million EPC contract with Southern Province Cement Company for the third production line at the Jazan plant in Saudi Arabia.

Southern Province Cement Co. signed a 30-month contract with Sinoma International Engineering Co. Ltd. to construct a production line with a capacity of 5,000 tons/day and set up infrastructure for another line of the same capacity. The contract value is $330 million.

Southern Province Cement Company started work on a new cement plant in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, with a capacity of 5,000 tonnes per day. The board also approved infrastructure for a second 5,000-tonne-per-day line at the same site, aiming to boost total capacity to 10,000 tonnes per day.

Southern Province Cement Company (SPCC) has begun construction of a new 5,000 tonne per day cement production line at its existing site in the Jazan region of Saudi Arabia, as part of a strategy to boost total capacity to 10,000 tpd.
