Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited (TPEML), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, signed a Unit Transfer Agreement with Ford India Private Limited to acquire Ford's manufacturing plant in Sanand, Gujarat, for Rs 725.7 crore. The plant has a capacity of 300,000 units per annum, scalable to 420,000 units.

Tata Motors, through its subsidiary Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., signed a tripartite agreement with the Gujarat government and Ford India Private Ltd. to acquire Ford's Sanand vehicle manufacturing plant, including land, buildings, machinery, and equipment. The acquisition will increase TPEML's capacity to 300,000 units per year, expandable to over 400,000 units.
