Premix Inc. was awarded a $79,869,431 firm-fixed-price contract to increase production capacity of plastic resin material for pipette tips, enabling production of over 200 million COVID-19 PCR tests per month by September 2025. Work will be performed in Gastonia, North Carolina, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 2025.

Premix held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 66,000 sqft compounding manufacturing plant at Apple Creek Corporate Center in Gaston County, North Carolina. The facility will double production capacity, employ 30-35 people, and be operational by August 2025.
