SFO-N GmbH acquires service business of Matec
The family office SFO-N GmbH, shareholder of SHW Werkzeugmaschinen, acquired the service business and supporting functions of machine and plant builder Matec, effective March 1, 2025. The Köngen site and around 40 jobs are retained under the new Matec Service GmbH.

Matec opens new production hub in Mulazzo, Italy
Matec Group has purchased a new production hub in Mulazzo (Massa-Carrara), Italy, a 12,000 sqm facility where it will produce crushing and screening machines, metal carpentry, decanters, and earth washing machines. The investment will create over 50 new jobs and enable in-house production of previously outsourced products.
