BIOFOS

AFRY won a framework agreement worth up to 24 million SEK to provide automation engineering services, including programming, upgrades, maintenance, and 24/7 support, for BIOFOS, Denmark's largest wastewater treatment plant, over the next two years.

Biofos A/S awarded a contract to AFRY Denmark A/S for PLC and SCADA programming services, with a total value of 15 million DKK (approx. 2 million EUR). The contract covers IGGS and Siemens PLC systems.

Aquaconsult Anlagenbau GmbH will supply 9,660 AEROSTRIP strip diffusers to BIOFOS A/S for the Lynetten and Damhusåen wastewater treatment plants in Copenhagen. Installation runs from June 2022 to May 2025.

BIOFOS signed a contract with the VEK consortium (NCC Danmark and Envidan) to expand the Damhusåen wastewater treatment plant in Copenhagen, increasing capacity from 10,000 to 15,000 m³ per hour, as part of a DKK 1 billion expansion plan.
