Canadian packaging company CCL Industries agreed to acquire Innovia Group from private equity investors led by The Smithfield Group in a deal worth CA$1.13 billion ($840 million), announced December 2016.
CCL Industries has agreed to acquire the Innovia Group, a producer of BOPP films, from a UK consortium managed by The Smithfield Group for about $1.13 billion, debt free. Closing is expected by the end of Q1 2017.
