Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority

Alstom won a contract worth €667 million from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority to supply 130 low-floor electric trams for Philadelphia. The trams will be built at Alstom's plant in Hornell, New York, with an option for 30 additional trams.

BAE Systems received a $60 million contract from the Army Contracting Command to develop next-generation radiation hardened microelectronics using Intel's commercial foundry.
