Biosphere Corporation has launched a greenfield spunlace nonwoven production plant in Dnipro, Ukraine, for wet wipes. The first test launch was in January 2022, with full capacity expected in early 2023. Investment was EUR 21 million.

ANDRITZ has received an order from Biosphere Corp. to deliver a complete neXline spunlace line for producing nonwoven fabrics. The line will double Biosphere's production capacity, with start-up scheduled in Q1 2022 and full capacity in early 2023.
