Kao Chemicals

Kao Chemicals GmbH is investing €30 million in a two-phase expansion at its Emmerich site. Phase 1 (2020) expanded production for shampoo and hair-dye precursors. Phase 2 (2021) is a €25 million new facility for precursors used in disinfectants, cleaning and care products. The workforce is expected to grow from 240 to 250 by 2022.
