YKK Corporation and Panasonic Holdings Corporation signed a share transfer agreement for Panasonic Housing Solutions Co., Ltd. An intermediate holding company established by YKK will acquire 80% of PHS shares, with PHD retaining 20%. The companies will jointly manage PHS.

YKK AP's affiliate Bhoruka Extrusions installed a new aluminum profile extrusion line at its Mysuru factory, increasing annual production capacity by 17% from 12,000 to 14,000 tons. The investment totals 620 million Indian rupees.

YKK AP Inc. established YKK AP (JIANGSU) CO., LTD. in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, China, as a manufacturing site for aluminum profiles. Construction will begin soon, with operations scheduled to commence in October 2026. The paid-in capital is USD 33 million.

YKK AP AMERICA INC. announced it will build a new plant in Macon-Bibb, Georgia, for manufacturing residential vinyl windows. The plant will consolidate production from two existing locations and increase productivity by 212%.

YKK AP will build a new state-of-the-art factory at the Macon-Bibb I-75 Industrial Park in Macon, Georgia, investing up to $125 million and creating 100 new jobs. Operations are expected to begin in early 2024.

YKK AP Inc. acquired land adjacent to its Saitama Factory in Misato Town, Saitama Prefecture, and announced plans to construct a new factory for aluminum architectural products for commercial buildings. The expansion aims to strengthen the commercial business in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
