Enrogen

Visa S.p.A., a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, has acquired Enrogen, a UK-based manufacturer of diesel generators based in Pocklington, East Yorkshire. The deal is expected to help Enrogen capitalize on growth in the diesel generator market.

Onis Visa spa, controlled by HIG Capital, completed the acquisition of Enrogen Ltd, a UK-based producer of high-quality diesel generators, from founders James Brown and Gavin Wilkinson. The value was not disclosed.

Enrogen signed a £7.5 million contract to supply 12 diesel back-up generators for a global computer company's new data centre in Saudi Arabia. The company will also build a new fabrication plant at its Pocklington base and hire additional staff.
