BauTex Composites

German company BauTex, a producer of technical fabrics, plans to expand its production capacity in Straseni, Moldova, aiming for annual sales of €50 million and creating about 300 new jobs.

BauTex Composites opened a new fiberglass materials factory in Straseni, Moldova, with an investment of over $20 million. The facility has created over 250 jobs and is expected to generate approximately 200 more.

BauTex Composites, created by a German investor, signed an agreement to become a resident of the Bălți Free Economic Zone and will build a plant in Strășeni, Moldova, for producing glass fiber fabrics and products. The investment is approximately $18 million, with 100 new jobs expected in 2022.
