Hanwha Impact

Thomassen Energy, a Hanwha Impact subsidiary, secured an order from Uniper to convert a 123-MW gas turbine in Rotterdam into a mixed hydrogen combustion system capable of burning over 30% hydrogen.

Hanwha Impact signed a memorandum of understanding to remodel a U.S. hydrogen co-firing gas turbine power plant, using its technology to modify existing turbines to burn hydrogen and natural gas together, reducing carbon emissions.

Hanwha Impact has secured an order to convert a 172 MW natural gas turbine at a power plant in Linden, New Jersey, to mixed hydrogen combustion with a 40% hydrogen blending rate by 2022.
