Embecta Corp. closed its acquisition of Owen Mumford Holdings Ltd. for $200 million, including an upfront payment of about $135 million and up to $65 million in performance-based payments. Owen Mumford is a UK-based medical device manufacturer.

Embecta Corp. entered a definitive agreement to acquire Owen Mumford Holdings Limited, a UK-based medical device and drug-delivery technology company, for up to £150 million (£100 million upfront plus up to £50 million in performance-based payments). The transaction is expected to close in Embecta's fiscal third quarter of 2026.

Owen Mumford has acquired Empelvic, a Danish brand specializing in pelvic floor cushion technology, to expand its pelvic and sexual health portfolio.

Stevanato Group has signed an exclusive agreement with Owen Mumford to jointly offer the Aidaptus disposable auto-injector platform to biopharma companies, with Stevanato as exclusive manufacturing partner.

Owen Mumford has broken ground on a new £14 million production facility in Witney, Oxfordshire, UK, designed to BREEAM certification standards and intended for medical device manufacturing including the Aidaptus auto-injector.
