Sun Paper

Voith Paper will supply Sun Paper with two new XcelLine papermaking lines, PM 36 for low-grammage high-grade Testliner and PM 37 for corrugating medium paper. Start-up is planned for July to September 2018, with capacities of 400,000 and 300,000 metric tons.

Valmet will deliver key technology for a new 250 kt/year greenfield dissolving pulp mill for Sun Paper at Muang Phin in Savanakhet province, Laos. Pulp production is targeted to start in Q2 2018, with an order value of around EUR 20 million.
