Tarmac Cement and Lime

Southern Water has awarded an AMP8 Chemicals Framework contract worth an estimated £104 million to a pool of suppliers including Brenntag UK, Industrial Chemicals, Kemira OYJ, Tennants Distribution, and Tarmac Cement and Lime for water treatment chemicals.

LLW Repository Limited t/a Nuclear Waste Services awarded contracts for the supply of cementitious powders (OPC and PFA) to its sites in Drigg, Cumbria and Dounreay, Scotland. Lot 1 (OPC) was awarded to Tarmac Cement & Lime Ltd, and Lot 2 (PFA) to Power Minerals Ltd, with a total value range of £2.6 million to £3.8 million over 5 years.

Nuclear Waste Services Limited awarded a £2.8 million contract for the supply of cementitious powders to Tarmac Cement and Lime and Power Minerals Ltd. The contract covers two lots: Ordinary Portland Cement and Pulverised Fuel Ash, with delivery to sites in Drigg, Cumbria and Dounreay, Thurso, starting 17 October 2022 for five years.
