Wärtsilä to supply 50 MW / 100 MWh battery storage system to EDF Renewables in Sundon, UK
Wärtsilä signed a repeat order with EDF Renewables UK and Ireland to deliver a 50 MW / 100 MWh lithium-ion grid-scale battery storage facility in Sundon, Bedfordshire, as part of an Energy Superhub. Construction is expected to start in spring 2023.

Saipem wins EPCI contract for Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm in Scotland
EDF Renewables awarded Saipem an EPCI contract to build the 450 MW Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm off the Fife coast in Scotland, covering 54 turbine jackets and 2 substation jackets. Offshore installation will be carried out by the crane vessel Saipem 7000.
