Nexperia Malaysia breaks ground on RM1.6B chip facility in Seremban
Nexperia Malaysia held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 4-storey semiconductor facility in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. The company plans to invest an additional RM1.6 billion by 2026 for building, equipment and automation, and expects to hire 700 skilled workers. The facility will feature 11,000 sqm of clean room space and is anticipated to be operational by mid-2022.
