Mellott Company

Mellott entered into an agreement to acquire Southern Machinery Company, an aggregates industry service provider.

Mellott, along with partners KastRock, NorX, and Marion Machine, announced a multi-million dollar growth initiative to increase warehouse capacity, parts inventory, equipment stock, and service capabilities at locations from Florida to Pennsylvania.

Mellott and NorX are joining together to become the market-leading supplier of crushing and screening solutions in the aggregates industry. The deal combines two family-operated distributors.

Mellott announced a partnership with MFG Partners and PNC Mezzanine Capital to support growth and expansion, while continuing to operate as a family business.

Private equity firm MFG Partners has completed the acquisition of Mellott Company, an aggregates processing services and equipment provider headquartered in Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania. Terms were not disclosed.
