Ming Yang Smart Energy Group

Ming Yang Smart Energy announced a proposed investment of up to £1.5 billion to build a wind turbine factory at the Ardersier green freeport near Inverness, Scotland. The plant is expected to begin production by late 2028, creating up to 1,500 jobs.

Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Ming Yang Smart Energy Group is planning to set up a major manufacturing facility in Germany, capable of producing turbines with at least 1 GW capacity annually. Construction is expected to start within three years.
