Milrem Robotics

Milrem Robotics opened a new facility next to its headquarters in Tallinn, Estonia, increasing production capability fivefold to manufacture over 500 THeMIS Unmanned Ground Vehicles per year, and adding 1000 sqm of office space.

EDGE Group, an advanced technology and defence group from the UAE, acquired a majority stake in Estonia's Milrem Robotics, a developer of robotics and autonomous systems. The transaction is the largest foreign investment in Estonian defence.

Milrem Robotics will provide engineering expertise for the upgrade of 37 Estonian Defence Forces CV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicles as part of a consortium led by Go Craft and Scania Estonia, under a €29.3 million contract awarded in June 2021.
