Samvardhana Motherson International (SAMIL) is acquiring Australia's Lumen Group and Switzerland's Deltacarb SA for approximately ₹575 crore. The Lumen Group acquisition has an enterprise value of AUD 93 million and is expected to close by Q4 FY2024.

Lumen held a groundbreaking ceremony on 17 August 2021 for a C$90 million expansion of its distribution centre in Laval, Quebec, which will increase total area to over 560,000 sq ft and add automated cable cutting systems. Construction runs from September 2021 to September 2022, with automation operational by July 2023.
