Platinum Equity has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Pelican Products Inc., a manufacturer of protective cases and equipment. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2021.

Platinum Equity signed a definitive agreement to acquire Solenis, a specialty chemicals producer, from CD&R and BASF for an enterprise value of $5.25 billion. Solenis will merge with Sigura Water for a combined transaction value of ~$6.5 billion.

Sigura Water, a water treatment solutions provider, merged with Solenis on July 6, 2021. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
