Huaxin Cement completes 75% acquisition of Lafarge Zambia
Huaxin Cement has completed the acquisition of 75% equity in Lafarge Zambia Plc from Financière Lafarge SAS and Pan African Cement for an estimated $160 million. The deal adds 1.5 million tons per year of cement capacity and 600,000 tons per year of aggregate capacity in Zambia.

Huaxin Cement's board approved the acquisition of Lafarge Zambia Plc and Lafarge Cement Malawi Ltd for a total enterprise value of US$160 million. The deal will add 1.75 million tons of annual cement capacity in Africa.
